Supplier Code of Conduct
Fortnox is a national business platform with a focus on helping companies start, grow and develop. As such have a responsibility to conduct our business in an ethical and sustainable way through the entire supply chain and therefore also require suppliers to act ethically and sustainably.
The supplier CoC, which is based on the principles of the UN's Global Compact , summarizes Fortnox's expectations of suppliers in terms of ethical and sustainable behavior and is based, among other things, on principles of human rights and working conditions.
The supplier must comply with applicable laws, rules and regulations in the countries in which they operate. In the event of a conflict between rules in the Supplier CoC and said regulations, the supplier must apply the regulations that establish the highest standard. The supplier must notify Fortnox if a rule in the code is incompatible with the law, rule or regulation where the supplier operates.
The supplier CoC applies to all suppliers who provide Fortnox with products or services.
Human rights and working conditions
The supplier must offer a safe, secure and physically and psychologically healthy work environment.
The supplier must treat its employees with dignity and respect. We do not tolerate any form of harassment, threats, bullying or other inappropriate behavior at work.
The supplier must treat everyone equally regardless of gender, gender identity or expression, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion or other belief, age or disability or other grounds of discrimination in applicable law.
The supplier must apply fair working conditions and comply with applicable national and international labor law standards.
The supplier must respect every employee's right to organize, join and renounce membership in workers' organizations. Employee representatives must be given the opportunity to fulfill their duties and the right to negotiate collective agreements.
The supplier must support and respect internationally recognized human rights.
The supplier may not apply any form of forced labour, physical or mental punishment or threat of punishment.
The supplier must not participate in or support the use of child labor or other types of exploitation of children. The supplier must comply with applicable national laws and international standards regarding the minimum age for work.
Business ethics
The Supplier must avoid conflicts of interest between Fortnox and the supplier and report actual or potential conflicts of interest. A conflict of interest arises, for example, when the supplier's private interests or personal relationships are or can be considered to be in conflict with Fortnox's interests.
The supplier must process personal data in accordance with applicable law.
Corruption
The supplier must observe zero tolerance towards all forms of corruption, including bribes, kickbacks, improper benefits and influenced trading..
Climate and environment
The supplier must comply with applicable environmental legislation and hold the environmental permits required for the business.
The supplier must strive to reduce its negative environmental impact, including by reducing its resource consumption and preventing pollution. Fortnox encourages the development of environmentally friendly technologies.
